He mentioned the encouragement of plot holders to enter the novices’ classes with all information about this being available on the HDAF website. Informed committee that all trophies are to be handed back to HDAF by the 20th of June which ties in with engraver finishing with them on the same day. Judi mentioned our local PCSO is happy to come to site to mark any tools that plot holders would like and that it would be good to make this a social event with hot drinks and a possible plant swap to run at the same time. James mentioned council giving away free water butts, Liz Bailey from the council is the contact and this is to be investigated. Condition of some of the sheds on site are needing repairs but an email encouraging this had been put out aa day or two before the meeting. The sourcing of a new manure supply was discussed as a plot holder had mentioned they have access to some, and Michelle is to contact them to discuss. A summer BBQ was mentioned and details of any organising of this will be discussed further at a later date.
